Court Liaison II Job Description

The Family Resource Center of South Florida, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Liaison II to join our team. As a Court Liaison II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our court proceedings and providing exceptional support to our Case Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend all set court hearings in assigned divisions and prepare court memos for each case set for hearing that day.
  • Request court orders from the Children's Legal Services (CLS) attorney when they are not provided timely to the agency.
  • Keep track of hearing dates in assigned divisions and maintain a master calendar of all hearings in Outlook.
  • Set up weekly staffings with Case Managers to ensure they are prepared for upcoming court hearings.
  • Provide accurate information to the court at all times and be able to answer questions about the case.
  • Assist Case Managers in completing documents as needed and utilize all State and FRC Databases with a high degree of expertise and efficiency.
  • Complete timely all assignments as requested by Full Case Management Supervisors and/or Administrators and/or FRC Attorneys.
  • Monitor the agency's court list weekly and ensure that court documents are submitted timely in compliance with Agency procedure.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, is required.
  • Familiarity with the Full Case Management System and the Child Welfare Dependency System in Miami Dade County.
  • Familiarity with Child Welfare and Child Welfare related computer programs.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving history.
  • Current certification with the Florida Board of Certification as a CWCM, CWPI, CWLC, CWCM-S.
