We are seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our Data Platform capabilities and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities- Define and Translate Business Unit Needs: Work closely with senior management, engineering, and platform teams to understand business needs and develop a data foundation that supports these needs.
- Develop Product Vision and Strategy: Deeply understand business needs, product analytics, and industry innovation to drive the product vision and strategy, maximizing business and consumer impact.
- Develop Product Roadmap: Create a product roadmap that supports the business unit and drive execution with the data engineering team.
- Define and Evolve Product Vision: Define and evolve the product vision and strategic direction for our Enterprise Data Platform to support enterprise-wide use cases.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Partner closely with senior management, engineering, and platform teams to define and align with stakeholders on vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive cross-business unit collaboration, dependency management, planning, and execution.
- Foster a Metrics-Driven Environment: Foster a metrics-driven environment that encourages quality experimentation and sets high standards for measuring data success.
- Exhibit Robust Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit robust problem-solving and decision-making skills, tackling technical and strategic challenges in innovative ways and leveraging data and intuition to make strategic choices in the face of ambiguity and complexity.
- Ensure Thoughtful Data Product Evolution: Ensure thoughtful data product evolution that addresses evolving industry needs and business requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in product management in Data and platform capabilities
- Proven track record of building Data and Platform solutions that scale and drive business growth
- Ability to develop vision and strategy, demonstrate strong business acumen, and problem-solving combined with skills to evangelize internally and educate the organization
- Excellent communication and organization skills. Experience with complex large-scale implementations is preferred
- Rigor in translating ideas into actual plans and execution tracks
- Proven ability to drive execution and velocity and partnerships. Agile Product management experience and demonstrated success in collaboration and execution across a cross-functional organization
- Demonstrated experience in leading through data-driven decision making and prioritization
- STEM or Business Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
