Point Quest Group Therapeutic Services is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Southwest Dallas Metro Area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with school districts to provide high-quality speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Plan and provide individual, group, and classroom-based therapeutic services to students consistent with speech and language goals.
  • Evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of treatment/response to therapy interventions to identify student progress and/or determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
  • Conduct independent evaluations to assess students with speech or language disorders and conditions to determine eligibility for services.
  • Develop clinical management strategies or procedures and diagnostic statements by interpreting observations or data.
  • Coach and involve caregivers in the evaluation & therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other interdisciplinary team members to plan and implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students across educational settings.
  • Provide professional development in assigned schools to help school personnel identify and understand communication deficits in students.
  • Participate in in-service education and team conferences.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents about the student's therapy goals and educational needs.
  • Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process to assist in interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement, and goal setting for students with communication disorders or conditions.
Requirements:
  • Current, active TX state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, or be eligible for licensure.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance.
  • Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications, internet.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient language and communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manners.
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
