Merchandise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products on our sales floor.

• Receiving and Merchandising Standards: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team.
• Customer Experience: Engage and interact with all customers to ensure an excellent customer experience, and maintain a clean and organized store.
• Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Inventory Management: Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, and maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
• Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
• Adaptability: Respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, and prioritize tasks as needed.

• Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
