Key Responsibilities: What does a Retail Service Supervisor do?


• This role allows you to refine your technical skills (approximately 80% of the time) while starting to acquire the leadership abilities necessary to manage your shop and transition into a Shop Manager role.


• The primary duties of a Retail Service Supervisor include:


• Draining motor oil, replacing oil filters, and greasing chassis fittings


• Cleaning windshields and adjusting tire pressure


• Inspecting and replenishing fluids


• Assisting customers in selecting oil types and additional services


• Processing payments for services rendered


• Conducting coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services


• Restocking and managing inventory levels on the shop floor


• Maintaining cleanliness in the shop, office, and restroom areas


• Engaging with customers before they leave to ensure a positive experience


• Ensuring smooth store operations in the absence of the Shop Manager


• Performing opening and closing procedures


• Assisting with inventory counts and adjustments


• Serving as a role model for fellow employees without the pressures of hiring or firing decisions.

Qualifications: Important Information Before You Begin


• Initially, it may feel like you are preparing for an exam. It's crucial for all employees to gain a thorough understanding of our oils and services.


• Ability to navigate a shallow 3' deep pit for safe positioning under vehicles


• Must be prepared to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform tasks involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods


• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions


• Maintain alertness and awareness of surroundings


• Capability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds


• Reliable transportation is necessary.
