Job Summary: We are seeking a Support Staff Assistant to join our team at the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with special needs on a school bus route
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure their safety during transportation
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful experience

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special needs preferred
  • CPI training preferred, but will be provided if not currently trained
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Schedule: 189-day work calendar, approximately 2:00-5:00 p.m. M-F
