Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the healthcare team
- Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington
- 1-3 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
