Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Sterling Engineering. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for championing the design, implementation, and coordination of robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) programs for assigned plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QMS programs to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Lead quality surveillance activities to identify and address quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and improve processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Partner with program teams to ensure timely product launches.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience managing a QMS.
  • Prior experience in auditing and equipment inspection (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis tools.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and best practices.

What We Offer:

Direct hire with benefits from day 1 and almost 100% coverage. In addition to 11 paid holidays, 2-3 weeks vacations, 401K, etc.

Target Salary: $75-100K
