About Evsie:
Evsie is a style shop for tween girls, offering comfort-conscious apparel made for movement and ease. Our goal is to make every evsie girl feel confident, stylish, and happy to be doing what she loves. We're looking for individuals with a passion for fashion who can provide exceptional service to our customers.
Position Overview:
As a Maurices Stylist, you will work with our store team to ensure a consistent brand experience and provide excellent service to all customers. You will contribute to the achievement of store sales goals, execution of store operations, and visual brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:
- Practice our Customer First Culture by building authentic connections with every evsie customer and their shopping companion.
- Create an amazing experience by asking open-ended questions, making relevant recommendations, and sharing the benefits of our loyalty programs.
- Become an expert stylist by communicating your style expertise and building credibility with evsie customers and their shopping companions.
Building Sales and Promoting an Omni-Channel Experience:
- Commit to our Customer First Experience by consistently delivering, coaching, and developing the behaviors of Observe, Connect, Suggest & Sell.
- Promote an omni-channel experience for evsie and their shopping companions by utilizing loyalty programs, promoting maurices.com, and using technology as a selling resource.
Contributes to Store Results and Team Experience:
- Contribute positively to store results through our Customer First Survey, personal and team recognition through survey comments from evsie, and store sales results.
- Contribute to the team experience by reacting quickly and communicating with team members regarding customer and store activity needs, being inclusive, positive, and treating all team members with respect, engaging team members, and being receptive to feedback from others and making timely changes.
Contributes to the Brand Experience:
- Efficiently and accurately implement evsie Standard Operating Procedures.
- Understand and execute all visual brand expectations.
- Represent the company's current image.
- Consistently work scheduled shifts and maintain a flexible schedule to meet store needs, being reliable and dependable.
Work Experience and Education Requirements:
- High School Degree or GED preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred, including experience interacting with pre-teen-aged children.
Unique/Physical Requirements:
- Work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Able to reach, push, pull, stand, squat, and bend for up to 8 hours or longer as necessary.
- Able to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
- Able to operate a computerized register system.
- Able to move or handle merchandise throughout the store weighing up to 50 pounds.
