Role Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Working alongside medical professionals, the RN provides essential pre-operative and post-operative nursing services, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to provide safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Exhibit professionalism and effective communication in all interactions.
- Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability, serving as a resource for the care team.
- Maintain accountability for delivering quality nursing services and promoting a positive nursing image.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree).
- At least six months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
Our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) features a specialized 35-bed unit focused on advanced cardiac care, including heart failure and transplant patients. Our team collaborates closely with CVICU, ensuring seamless patient transitions.
