Job Description

Make a Difference with a Career in Insurance

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking a skilled Premium Auditor to join our team. As a Premium Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing property and casualty commercial lines policies to establish accurate classifications, exposures, and premium basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to agents' commercial clients to conduct audits
  • Develop earned premiums in accordance with company, industry, and government rules and regulations
  • Verify premium basis by reviewing ledgers, state or federal quarterly records, financial statements, and other accounting records
  • Investigate and establish correct policy classifications through personal interview and physical inspections of the insured's premises
  • Document changes in the insured's operations
  • Prepare and submit completed reports within established time frames
  • Interact with agents and associates to communicate and support audit results

Requirements:

  • Experience in insurance and/or auditing
  • Strong knowledge of the property and casualty business and products
  • Underwriting experience
  • Strong automation skills

  • Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 annually
