Floor Technician

Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full-time Floor Tech to perform the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards as may be directed by the Director of Facility Services and/or the Administrator to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

• Assist the Director of Plant Operations in maintaining the facility in good repair;
• Clean windows, screens and high areas;
• Perform duties as directed or required, in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire, safety, infection control, isolation and sanitation procedures;
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, unsafe and hazardous conditions and that all tools and supplies are properly stored to ensure compliance with established regulations and procedures at all times.

• Must be at least 18 years of age;
• Completion of high school education or equivalency or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions;
• Must speak and understand English;
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
