Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced higher education administrator to serve as President of Danville Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our college's strategic initiatives, ensuring academic excellence, and promoting student success. Responsibilities
The President will oversee all aspects of college operations, including academics, finance, human resources, and facilities management. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve college goals
- Serving as the chief spokesperson for the college, representing us at local, state, and national levels
- Fostering partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and community organizations to promote economic development and student success
- Maintaining effective communication channels with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have an earned doctorate and significant senior executive experience in higher education administration. Desired qualifications include:
