Job Title: Global Perspectives Instructor

Department: Middle School

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Middle School social studies teacher to join our faculty as a Global Perspectives Instructor. In this role, you will design and implement engaging curriculum units that promote student inquiry and critical thinking about global issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach social studies courses for middle school students
  • Create curriculum units that explore global perspectives and cultural awareness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement project-based learning initiatives
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes pluralism, curiosity, and empathy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching experience in social studies or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of adolescent development and learning principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
