Job Title: Traveling Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of traveling healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, providing high-quality patient care and developing your clinical skills.

Job Summary:
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy.
  • Provide and direct patient care for a group of patients, relating effectively with other shifts and departments for optimal continuity of care.
  • Provide clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assist in their development.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing plan of care.
  • Manage both emotional and physical patients, assessing patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff, providing quality care in a compassionate and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to assist others when needed, with a positive attitude toward work and others.
