Nurse Supervisor Opportunity in Long-Term Care

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team at Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, located in Utica, NY. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supervising a team of nursing staff. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of quality care, while also promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and prescribing programs
