Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and leading a team of production employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production process, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production employees, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with management and supervisors to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and control production costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
