Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. As a member of our team, you will be a key player in making SonarCloud the best tool for Code Quality and Security.

You will have the opportunity to work with Product Managers and UX designers to specify new features and improve the product. You will develop new features with the end user in mind, write unit tests and integration tests, and push and monitor your new features into production.

Our ideal candidate has 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer with Java. You should have good Computer Science fundamentals, experience with relational RDBMS, and knowledge of build tools and version control systems.

Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer with Java
  • Good Computer Science fundamentals
  • Experience with relational RDBMS (such as MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres)
  • Knowledge of build tools (Maven or Gradle)
  • Experience with any version control system (we use git)
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
  • Experience with API design and third-party integrations
