Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for performing general cleaning tasks, including patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks, including patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas of the hospital.
  • Lift, move, and relocate furniture, furnishings, equipment, etc.
  • Operate power equipment as needed.
  • Frequently lift, carry, pull, or push up to 50lbs.
  • Frequently stand and walk for prolonged periods, as well as reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch.
Requirements
  • Requires attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal directions, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred experience in similar position(s).
  • Ability to operate power equipment.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to 50lbs.
  • Frequent standing and walking for prolonged periods, as well as reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
