Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at MEDSTAR WASHINGTON HOSPITAL CTR ALLIED|WHC|40110. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain accurate and detailed images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered CT Technologist with 5 years of experience in trauma and emergency settings
  • Knowledge of GE 64 slice CT scanners and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital or medical imaging setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
