About the Role

The Affiliated Sante Group is seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team in Salisbury, MD.

As a key member of our Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) team, you will work alongside a Clinician to respond to crisis situations for youth and their caregivers in the local community.

Your primary objective will be to assess, evaluate, and perform crisis intervention techniques, develop crisis and treatment plans, and serve as a liaison for collaboration with involved parties, including families and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote health, self-direction, and skill development for youth and their caregivers, ensuring long-term stabilization goals are established.
  • Provide education and resources on community services, family peer support, support groups, and networks.
  • Serve as an advocate for youth and their caregivers.
  • Assist in wraparound planning processes and the development of crisis and other youth- and family-driven plans for a warm hand-off to longer-term services.
  • Partner with youth, family/caregivers, and community agencies to foster positive relationships over an 8–12-week period.
  • Attend community stakeholder meetings relevant to the involved youth.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of professional experience (preferably in a community-based program).
  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to obtain certification within one year of employment; Sante will cover certification fees.
  • Three years of personal lived experience caring for a child with behavioral dysregulation, a mental health diagnosis, or co-occurring disorder.
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
