Meat Cutter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter Specialist to join our team at Save Mart Supermarkets. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for meeting daily production needs and quality standards in meat cutting and preparation.

• Receive, stock, cut, grind, wrap, weigh, and price meat department products
• Order and stock prepackaged deli items and frozen food products
• Package, prepare trays, weigh items to properly label, rotate product, and remove out-of-code date products
• Ensure proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about products and services

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior meat department experience, including cutting of meat
• Ability to comprehend and follow specific instructions
• Ability to perform simple and repetitive tasks
• Ability to maintain work pace appropriate to a given workload

The Meat Cutter Specialist will be required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull, and lift objects, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
