  • Handle Landlord-Tenant Disputes: Expertly handle residential and commercial landlord-tenant-related disputes, with the potential to handle corresponding litigation disputes.
  • Represent Clients in Real Estate Closings and Disputes: Serve the best interests of our clients during real estate closings, disputes, and litigation.
  • Coordinate Due Diligence and Inspections: Coordinate detailed due diligence, inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with City Boards and Agencies: Cooperate with city boards and agencies to obtain permits and avoid zoning legal issues.
  • Negotiate Real Estate Transaction Terms: Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, facilitating the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company.
  • Oversee Support Staff: Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks, ensuring efficient operations.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding Research, Negotiation, Networking, and Communication Skills: Possess exceptional research, negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
  • Current Law License: Be a member of your local bar association and hold a current law license in the state.
  • Real Estate Experience: Have 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, transactional attorney, or corporate counsel for a real estate development firm.
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree: Hold a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Relevant Knowledge: Possess relevant knowledge of property management, land use, title insurance, business law, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation.
