We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Procedures: You will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, including positioning and immobilizing patients, selecting technical factors, and operating support equipment.
- Image Acquisition and Processing: You will be responsible for acquiring and processing MRI images, including archiving images onto optical disks and following MRI workflow.
- Patient Care: You will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, including explaining procedures to patients, answering questions, and transferring patients to and from the MRI scanning table.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient information, including documentation of patient statistics, supplies, and patient billing information.
- Quality Assurance and Safety: You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the MRI department, including adhering to established safety standards and protocols.
- Education and Experience: You must have a degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- Skills and Abilities: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: You must be certified in MRI and have a valid CPR certification.
