Job Summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, modify, test, and evaluate FPGA and programmable hardware
  • Design complex Circuit Card Assemblies to support Avionics and Space customer's photonic subsystems and integrated communication systems
  • Develop digital designs requiring programmable logic, VHDL language, and digital communications systems knowledge
  • Analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results to establish operating data
  • Design and modify tests to verify the operational state of various L3Harris products and accessories
  • Test, analyze, and evaluate the requirements compliance of L3Harris hardware products
  • Utilize tools such as network analyzers and LabVIEW
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant professional experience, or Associates degree and 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 3-4+ years of experience assembling and troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Experience interpreting blueprints, schematics, using power meters and signal generators, and soldering experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with MS Office suite and related computer functions/applications
  • Computer Technology: Microsoft Windows and Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • RF Concepts: Power in Watts or dBM, and general RF propagation associated with antennas/receivers/transmitters
  • Cellular Protocols: GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, 5G NR, etc.
  • Test Equipment: Base Station Emulators, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Test Phones, Oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Computer Networking: Ethernet, Hubs, Routers, etc.
