Salary

Job Description
As a Certification and Compliance Expert, you will own Peak's product certification strategy and execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development and commercialization. Your expertise will be essential in understanding market requirements for certifications, interpreting codes and standards, and performing self-certification or certification in conjunction with NRTLs and other certifying bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Identify and interpret relevant regulatory standards, including UL, IEC, UN, CE, and other global certification requirements.
    • Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure all products meet required standards.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Certification Management:
    • Perform self-certification for Peak's products where applicable.
    • Coordinate with external certification bodies and testing laboratories to schedule and oversee certification testing.
    • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for product certifications.
    • Track the status of certifications and ensure timely renewals and updates.
  • Internal Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the product development team to integrate certification requirements into the product design and development process.
    • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for improving certification processes and efficiency.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in energy storage and regulatory environments.


Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, certifications, or quality assurance within the energy storage, renewable energy, or a related industry. You must also possess strong project management skills, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
