Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse with Partners Healthcare System, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team on a per diem basis, working evening shifts in East Sandwich.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nursing Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough and accurate nursing assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care that reflect the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and educating patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Skills: Effective verbal, electronic, and written communication skills; computer proficiency, with experience in Microsoft Office applications; ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and nights, holidays, weekends, and travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • Skills: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse populations; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
