About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of researchers and scientists dedicated to advancing medical imaging and radiomics research. You will have the chance to work with state-of-the-art technologies and collaborate with leading experts in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and facilitate ML and radiomics-based research initiatives across the institute.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of ML-based research projects, applying state-of-the-art Python-based tools for image segmentation, feature calculation, and model building.
- Stay up to date with the latest research in medical imaging, ML, and AI, ensuring the application of cutting-edge techniques.
- Ensure proper image processing, including anonymization, segmentation, and outcome prediction model construction.
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Podman.
- Work with system architects to optimize and implement in-house tools for large-scale medical imaging workflows.
- Provide advanced training and user support for researchers in oncology-focused ML applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Python, including libraries such as PyTorch and SciPy.
- Familiarity with radiomics tools and their application in medical imaging analysis.
- Experience with containerized environments and workflow orchestration tools.
