Position Overview
At Vidant Health, we are committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. The Floor Technician plays a crucial role in this mission by ensuring that all patient and non-patient care areas are kept in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities
The Floor Technician will be responsible for:
- Utilizing appropriate cleaning agents to maintain floors and carpets.
- Disposing of waste and linen in accordance with established protocols.
- Cleaning and sanitizing surface areas to promote a hygienic environment.
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness in public waiting areas and building entrances.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors by effectively communicating their needs to the relevant staff.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all team members.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a healthcare or industrial cleaning setting. Proficiency in reading and writing in English is essential.
