Job Overview

DTG Enterprises Inc. is on the lookout for a Hook Truck Driver possessing a CDL Class A License. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an all-terrain, four-wheel drive forklift to efficiently place and retrieve 4 and 6 cubic yard bins. Our Hook Truck Fleet is designed for versatility, making it ideal for builders facing spatial challenges.

Work Schedule

Drivers typically work Monday through Friday, from 5 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts as part of a pre-arranged rotation. In peak times, workdays may extend to 12 hours, while some days may be shorter than 10 hours.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting pay at $30 per hour
  • Sign-on bonus of $2,000 for new hires with a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) and a clean driving record
  • Quarterly pay increases of 1%
Working Conditions

DTG drivers must be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and dusty environments. Responsibilities include operating vehicles in residential, commercial, and construction settings, as well as on public roadways.

Physical and Non-Physical Requirements
  • Drivers will perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
  • Physical tasks include entering and exiting the vehicle frequently and cleaning potential road hazards from the truck.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor while driving and interacting with customers is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate trucks and forklifts to transport containers.
  • Log and track loads using provided tablets.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A license is required.
  • Experience with forklifts and hook trucks is preferred.
