About the Role

We are seeking certified/sub-license GEN ED/ELA teachers who can participate in a collaborative learning environment and contribute to professional growth activities. The ideal candidate will build positive relationships with students and families, coordinating knowledge of content, students, and resources to design engaging learning experiences aligned with instructional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement lesson plans that promote cultural relevance, diversity of thinking, and respect for all individuals.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that establishes clear expectations for learning.
  • Cultivate a love for reading and writing among students, promoting literacy skills and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
