ROLE SUMMARY:

  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in our Transitional Care unit, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients during their recovery journey. Your contributions will help patients achieve their health goals and facilitate their transition to home or a lower level of care.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  • Competitive starting wage of $30.33 per hour (LPN license)
  • Additional $2.00 shift differential for hours worked between 2:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Weekend premium of $2.00 per hour for shifts from Saturday morning to Monday morning

WORK SCHEDULES:

Available shifts may include:

  • 4-hour shifts
  • 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM / 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
  • 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Potential work arrangements include:

  • Full-Time with comprehensive benefits: 4 shifts weekly plus every other weekend = 80 hours per pay period
  • Part-Time with full benefits: 3 shifts weekly plus every other weekend = 64 hours per pay period
  • Part-Time with most benefits excluding medical: 1-2 shifts weekly plus every other weekend = 40-56 hours per pay period
  • Part-Time: 1 shift weekly plus every other weekend = 32 hours per pay period
  • Part-Time: every other weekend = 16 hours per pay period
  • Flexible scheduling: minimum of 3 shifts monthly, including 1 weekend

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current LPN license in Virginia.
  • Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
  • Capacity to build effective working relationships with nursing assistants and administration to ensure high standards of care.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
