Rewind Operator

We are seeking a skilled Rewind Operator to join our team at UPM Raflatac in Mills River, NC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely operating the rewinder and mobile equipment to run jobs/orders planned to the rewinder to fill customer orders and correct defective material.

• Operate the rewinder and mobile equipment to meet production targets and ensure safe working practices.
• Inspect quality defects in material and take corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
• Pack reels on pallets according to customer FOM's and packing plans.
• Break down and restore stock and customer reels/pallets.
• Organize and locate stocks, wrap pallets.

• High School education and 1-2 years' work experience in an industrial setting.
• Previous work experience in paper/paper converting industry or experience working with web-handling equipment desired.
• Ability to work well within a team and develop problem-solving skills.
• Computer-literate and proficient in verbal and written interactions.
