MediPro, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our clients dynamic surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and Organize the Operating Room: Ensure the operating room is equipped with surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Assist the Surgical Team: Pass instruments, maintain sterile techniques, and anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures.
- Monitor and Maintain Sterile Fields: Ensure the integrity of sterile fields throughout surgery.
- Operate Sterilizing Equipment: Disinfect surgical instruments and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist with Patient Preparation: Position and drape patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with the Surgical Team: Ensure patient safety and a smooth surgical process.
- Post-Operative Clean-Up: Decontaminate equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Equivalent Certification: Preferred.
- Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program: Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required.
- Prior Experience in an Operating Room Environment: Preferred.
- Knowledge of Sterile Techniques, Surgical Instruments, and Operating Room Procedures: Required.
- Strong Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving Abilities, and Ability to Work Under Pressure: Required.
- Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Required.
