Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Sonographic Equipment: Independently operate sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic examinations.
  • Perform Diagnostic Examinations: Conduct diagnostic examinations using sonography to provide accurate results.
  • Communicate Results: Effectively communicate examination results to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain Medical Ethics: Maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with new procedures and technologies in the field of cardiac sonography.
Requirements
  • Registration: Be registered with a recognized credentialing organization (RDCS, CCI, RDMS, or ARRT(S)).
  • Licensure: Hold a valid NDMIRTBE license or conditional license.
  • Certifications: Possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Education: Meet the educational requirements for the position.
Additional Requirements
  • Background Check: Pass a background check and E-Verify or Attestation.
  • Physical Exam: Pass a physical exam within 1 year of start date.
  • Fit Test: Pass a fit test within 1 year of start date.
  • TB or Chest X-Ray: Provide a negative TB or chest X-ray result.
  • Hepatitis B Documentation: Provide hepatitis B documentation.
