Join Our Team as an Emergency Room Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Technician to join our team at Memorial Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

About the Role

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will perform basic patient care activities, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care. You will also assist with procedures, such as IV placement and blood draws, and provide emotional support to patients and families.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with IV placement, blood draw, and splinting extremities
  • Current State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program with a B average or better
  • Documentation of current State issued Emergency Medical Technician License or documentation of having worked as a Military Medic/Healthcare Specialist (DD214) or similar military issued document needed to validate training or documentation of having successfully completed a Patient Care Technician Program and hold a current Patient Care Tech National Certification (NHA, NCCT or NHCWA)
