Psych Rehab Assistant

CN Guidance and Counseling Services is seeking a skilled Psych Rehab Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide essential support to individuals with mental health and substance use conditions.

• Provide PRS and CRS services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and/or Director.
• Assist in the evaluation process and identify problem lists, short-term goals, long-term goals, and treatment plans.
• Conduct individual and group services as assigned by the supervisor and outlined in treatment plans.
• Participate in patient, family, and staff education.
• Confer with team members to coordinate the total rehabilitation program of patients.
• Maintain patient records that reflect patient treatment.
• Develop clinical knowledge and skills for the evaluation and treatment of behavioral health out-patient populations.
• Travel between facilities or other treatment locations as necessary.
• Perform tasks within the scope of educational preparation and knowledge.
• Assist with program services for a client caseload by participating in activities such as gathering information for assessments, regularly assessing progress with the supervisor, and promoting maximum independence.

• Current state licensure or license eligible in states where applicable.
• One year of current experience, unless otherwise indicated.
• Recent experience working with adults diagnosed with mental illness.
• Experience in a prevocational or psychosocial rehabilitation setting preferred.
