Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team at Resiliency, you will be tasked with conducting patient imaging procedures under the guidance of a nuclear medicine physician. Your role will encompass calculating appropriate radioisotope dosages for patient administration, managing advanced radioscopic machinery, and adhering to stringent radiation safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient scans while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Calculate and prepare radioisotope dosages for patient treatment.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist training program.
  • Possession of California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist credentials upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience within the last year, or at least 2 years of full-time experience with a gap of no more than 1 year in nuclear medicine.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not mandatory for recent graduates from an accredited technician training program).

Skills and Certifications:
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
