Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment, seeks a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor to the development of our games, you will design and build core gameplay systems, modernize legacy systems, and create web-based tools for operating our games.

The ideal candidate will have strong software design skills, capable of owning feature work throughout the entire development pipeline. They will write clean code, automated tests, provide scalable solutions in a distributed environment, and have at least three years of experience working on mobile games or live service software.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and developing gameplay features
  • Scoping and estimating tasks
  • Diving into existing systems to extend them as needed
  • Developing and integrating new technologies & SDKs
  • Mentoring other engineers in core language and software development best practices
