First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our fleet of vehicles and the students who rely on us for transportation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with vehicles to ensure they are safe for road travel.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to improve our maintenance processes.
- 3-5 years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided).
- ASE certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Competitive hourly rate of $34.75 per hour.
