Position Overview

The role of the Travel CT Technologist involves performing advanced imaging procedures utilizing a Siemens Somatom Perspective 64-slice CT unit. This position is critical in delivering high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • Tech Certification Verification: National
  • State License Verification: State-specific
  • NURSYS Verification: RN, LPN/LVN, AP
  • Medication Test: Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Competency Exam: Required
Work Schedule

The typical schedule consists of 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM and concluding at 5:30 PM. The workdays are structured as follows:

  • Work on Monday and Tuesday
  • Off on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Work from Saturday through Thursday
  • Off on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

This schedule will repeat every two weeks.

Additional Requirements
  • Government-issued photo ID is mandatory.
  • Primary source online verification is required.
  • A negative PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot test is required within 6 months of employment.
  • Chest X-ray is necessary within 5 years for those with a positive TB history.
  • Individuals born prior to 1957 are exempt from certain requirements.
  • A physical examination must be completed within 1 year of employment.
  • A negative 10 Panel Drug Screen (instant results acceptable) is required within 30 days of employment.
  • A 7-Year Criminal Search is required within 1 year of employment.
  • Two professional references are required within 3 years of hire.
