About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Driver to join our team at Metropolitan Ministries. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in retrieving in-kind donations throughout the Tampa Bay area and delivering them to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance inspections to ensure safe and efficient transportation of donations
  • Retrieve assignments for daily pickups and deliver donations to Metropolitan Ministries
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors through regular travel routes
  • Review and maintain daily donations records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Metropolitan Ministries
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; two years of driving history and three years of professional driving experience preferred
  • Valid permanent Florida Driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle weighing up to 2.5 tons
  • Minimum of two years warehouse/inventory experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Strong managerial skills and ability to supervise volunteers
