Job Title: Physician OB/GYN

Strivector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician OB/GYN to join our team. As a vital contributor to the health and wellness landscape, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients, take medical histories, and make preliminary diagnoses under the supervision of the Director - OB/GYN.
  • Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
  • Identify patient care issues and provide information, recommendations, and course of action.
  • Administer diagnostic tests, interpret results, and perform therapeutic procedures.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, wellness, and health maintenance.
  • Exercise professional judgment in consultation with other physicians regarding treatment.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, record progress, and maintain outpatient records.
  • Work in triage, make decisions on patient care needs, and perform referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Provide general health education and perform emergency treatment and complex procedures as required.
  • Instruct nurses, medical assistants, and back office assistants on patient care assistance.
  • Protect patients and employees by following infection control, medication administration, and storage procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supervise medical and PA students during clinic training.
  • Act as a resource person for decisions, planning, and policies affecting patient health.
  • Develop the healthcare team by providing information, educational, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Aide medical and executive directors by serving on committees and performing confidential peer reviews.
  • Contribute to team effort by fulfilling on-call duties and hospital hours.
  • Provide in-patient hospital obstetrical coverage and perform surgeries as required.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, and personal networks.
  • Participate in in-service/education regarding Quality Improvement.
Desired Skills and Experience:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physician OB/GYN who enjoys their work and is considered one of the best within their organization. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in many of the following:

  • Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree, four years of medical school, one year of rotating internship, and three years of residency.
  • Completion of annual CME requirements.
  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Demonstrated competencies in dealing with all age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
