Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Custodial Worker to join our team at the Oklahoma State Government. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our state institutions, public buildings, and state lodges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disposing of trash.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
  • Supervise or manage employees performing cleaning duties, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
