Data Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Horizon Innovations in Paris. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing technical, conceptual, and organizational requirements in the field of data management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into a structured information model, defining data relationships and concepts.
• Create architecture concepts and make implementation decisions within the team.
• Support business data modeling and develop data modeling principles and guidelines.
• Bridge the gap between business and IT to support data-driven business capabilities.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts & Change Agents to complete tasks.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, as well as an understanding of the bigger picture and long-term impacts. You should have a degree in business administration, business informatics, computer science, or a comparable qualification. Relevant professional experience and knowledge in data architecture, data management, and data governance are highly desirable.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of databases, query languages, and BI tools (e.g. PowerBI).
• Experience with cloud systems such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Good organizational skills and ability to recognize opportunities.
