Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team. As a Millwright Specialist, you'll be responsible for erecting structural steelwork, installing production plant and machine shop equipment, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erects structural steelwork and installs production plant and machine shop equipment
  • Locates, sets, and levels machines and equipment
  • Operates power tools, welders, cutters, and other shop tools
  • Reads and understands operating instructions
  • Performs retooling, adjusting, retiming, pressure checks, and test runs of machines
  • Debugs automated equipment and sets up equipment for production operation
  • Maintains automated equipment and instructs and assists other Millwrights in the maintenance of automated equipment
  • Follows training and procedures for handling hazardous waste and maintains segregation of contaminated/hazardous waste

Requirements

  • Completion of training program or equivalent
  • 3-4 years work at journey level
  • Ability to read and understand operating instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
