Position Overview:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care, provide clinical guidance, and undertake relief charge responsibilities as necessary. Act as a mentor to foster a constructive work atmosphere and ensure high-quality patient care. Care assignments may encompass a diverse range of age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide safe and effective direct care to designated patients.
2. Adhere to hospital and departmental protocols.
3. Develop and document personalized care plans.
4. Assist with specialized tests and procedures.
5. Engage in the orientation and training of new staff members.
6. Administer medications while ensuring patient safety.
7. Maintain a secure and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
8. Promote professional development through educational opportunities.
9. Comply with patient safety policies and procedures.
10. Identify and address environmental hazards that may jeopardize patient safety.
11. Encourage patient involvement in their own care.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited program.
Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
Experience:
No prior experience necessary.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is beneficial.
Credentials:
CPR for Healthcare Providers/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days.
Current RN license.
National certification in specialty area is a plus.
