Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team at St. Catherine of Siena. As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

• Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop an anesthesia care plan in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist.
• Provide high-quality anesthesia care, monitoring patients' physiologic condition, and modifying the anesthetic plan as needed.
• Transport patients safely to and from the anesthetizing location and ensure proper care during the postoperative period.
• Participate in post-operative evaluation, care, and follow-up.
• Perform additional related duties as a nurse anesthesia within the NYS scope of practice.

• Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA).
• Masters' Degree in Nursing or related field required. Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP) preferred.
• Unencumbered license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse In New York State required.
• Certified/Recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification by the American Heart Association required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.

Salary Range: USD $220,000.00 - USD $280,000.00 /Yr.
