Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at ProMach. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical assembly operations. You will work closely with our engineers to build mocked-up designs and ensure the proper functionality of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical assembly operations
- Read and understand assembly drawings
- Lead multiple projects on the shop floor from start to finish
- Monitor machine project schedules and work with project managers to ensure timely completion
- Work with engineers to build mocked-up designs
- Assemble multiple product lines efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Take care of shop tools and ensure they are returned to their proper place daily
- Fit, align, and adjust components on machines for testing with limited supervision
- Assist in testing and final adjustments of machines
- Support the World Class Checkout Process
- Follow and adhere to quality and assembly standards
- 2-year technical college degree preferred but not required
- 2-4 years of experience as an Assembler
- Ability to understand cause/effect of changes to mechanical equipment
- Ability to recommend design changes to improve equipment operation
- Ability to identify and correct machine operational problems
- Ability to lead and mentor other employees
