Kids Discovery Center Director

Early Learning Academies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Director to join our team at Kids Discovery in Valparaiso, FL.
Job Summary:
The Center Director will be responsible for maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our teachers, children, and families. This includes ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, managing staff, and developing strategies to address gaps in marketing and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Minimum Licensing Requirements (MLR)
- Maintain accurate and concise records
- Develop and implement strategies to address gaps in marketing and enrollment
- Conduct informative and professional tours
- Familiarize parents with center policies
- Maintain complete and up-to-date attendance files for all children
Requirements:
- AA degree in ECE or related field
- 5 years of management experience, 2 years early childhood preferred
- At least 2 years' experience working with children
- Florida Director's Credentials or ability to obtain them immediately
- Current first aid and CPR card
- Ability to clear a state criminal background check
